DUBAI TO AFRICA

Power for projects.
Possibility for people.

Integrated solar, battery storage, grid and backup power. Bringing engineering, equipment and local delivery together around your project.

ONE INTEGRATED SYSTEM

Solar PV Battery storage Utility grid Backup generation

Different technologies.
One shared purpose.

NABD GRID is a Dubai-based business focused on integrated energy solutions for projects in Africa.

We bring load assessment, system planning, equipment sourcing and delivery coordination into one project scope. Our initial focus is Kenya and Tanzania, connecting manufacturers—including suppliers in China—with the local expertise each project requires.

Our role is to coordinate the complete system: solar, batteries, the grid and diesel backup, together with the people and practical steps needed to make them work.

OUR MISSION

Make complex energy projects work as one.

Bring engineering, procurement and local delivery together to develop practical power solutions around the needs of each site.

OUR VISION

Africa powered for lasting progress.

To help businesses, essential services and communities access dependable energy that supports opportunity and long-term growth.

Our pillars

The principles behind every project decision.

01

Engineering first

Start with the load, operating conditions and a clear basis for design.

02

Accountable sourcing

Evaluate equipment, suppliers, warranties and the cost of ownership.

03

Local capability

Plan around qualified local engineers, installers and country requirements.

04

Long-term value

Consider safety, maintainability and system performance beyond handover.

Every interface matters.
We connect the scope.

A coordinated delivery model for energy projects, with responsibilities defined across equipment suppliers, logistics providers and local contractors.

01

Load studies & feasibility

Consumption profiles, critical loads, site conditions and existing assets, forming the basis for system sizing and investment decisions.

Clear requirements. Informed choices.
02

Engineering & integration

Solar, battery storage, grid and generator architecture, control interfaces and operating modes. Local design review and approvals coordinated where required.

The whole system, considered together.
03

Equipment & procurement

Technical specifications, supplier due diligence, price comparisons, quality documentation and procurement coordination, including sourcing from China.

Equipment matched to the project.
04

Tenders & project delivery

Technical submissions, scope alignment, schedules and coordination between manufacturers, project owners and local EPC contractors.

A defined route from bid to delivery.
05

Logistics & local installation

Freight planning, shipping documentation, delivery sequencing and installation coordination through project-specific logistics and local delivery providers.

From the factory to the right site.
06

Commissioning & handover

Test plans, interface checks, acceptance records and operating documentation, with training and maintenance requirements defined in the project scope.

Ready for the next stage of operation.

CONNECTED DELIVERY

Source. Ship. Install.
Enable everyday progress.

Good equipment is only the beginning. Delivery connects supply chains, local capability and the people who depend on power.

Built around the site.
Defined by its needs.

Every project starts with what needs power—and what happens when power is interrupted.

The applications below illustrate our project focus. They are not completed NABD GRID project references.

01Commercial & industrial powerFactories, warehouses and commercial facilities

Integrate solar and storage with grid supply and existing generators, based on the operating profile and continuity requirements of the facility.

PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS
  • Daily demand and critical process loads
  • Site space, electrical interfaces and operating modes
  • Lifecycle costs and maintenance access
02Essential services & infrastructureSchools, healthcare facilities and water systems

Plan power around the essential services that need to remain available, with clear load priorities and backup arrangements.

PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS
  • Critical loads and required autonomy
  • Safe operation, redundancy and local approvals
  • Operator training and documented acceptance
03Remote & hybrid energyOff-grid facilities and locations with constrained grid supply

Combine solar, battery storage and generator support around site access, fuel availability and the required operating hours.

PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS
  • Seasonal generation and changing energy demand
  • Freight, access and installation sequence
  • Spare parts, service access and handover planning
